New Golden Mile:
This region covers the coastline from Guadalmina to Estepona. The beach side is currently in the process of being fully developed with exclusive apartment projects basically on the beach. Since direct beach access is starting to become a scarce asset on Costa del Sol, the prices of these properties are rapidly increasing. The mountain side of the area will probably be developed within the next ten years, and enjoys fantastic ocean views towards Africa and Gibraltar. The area is 15 minutes from Marbella and 10 minutes from Puerto Banus.

Estepona West:
This region covers the areas from Estepona to Gibraltar. It includes the exclusive Sotogrande estate which is a sheltered community with large villas by the sea, a very nice harbor and mostly Spanish residents. The area has some of the best golf courses in Europe and includes the famous Valderama, Sotogrande, Alcaidesa, and San Roque. The area is 25 minutes from Marbella, and, apart from Sotogrande, it is less expensive than the more centrally located areas. However, if the European demand for a property under the sun continues as we see today, it is expected that also these areas west of Estepona will be further developed within the next ten years. Hence, the long term investment value could be great in today's market. Also, Gibraltar airport is only 20 minutes away.
